Mr. Watanabe is a consultant at the Tokyo office of AZMA & Associates, specializing in executive management and various management roles (front, middle, and back positions) within the life sciences sector.

Prior to joining AZMA & Associates in 2024, he was involved in pharmaceutical marketing for medical products at Johnson & Johnson. Before that, he started his career at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company, where he worked as a medical representative and was involved in business planning and marketing.

He graduated from the University of Tokyo with a degree in Engineering and holds an MBA from the Business Breakthrough University Graduate School.
